Roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide executive support to the Student Guidance and Counselling Section and education service centres to ensure the delivery of services in compliance with the local regulations/legislations regarding student welfare and psychological practices;
  • manage confidential records of assessments and interventions for student or clients;
  • gather feedback from clients and analyze data to measure service effectiveness as well as prepare the management reports;
  • promote educational psychology services and establish partnership with organizations in the community;
  • assist in managing budgets and resources allocation for the student guidance section;
  • identify funding opportunities and apply for supporting grant to secure additional resources; and
  • supervise subordinates with provision of guidance and support.

 

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • A recognized degree or equivalent;
  • at least Grade D in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
  • preferably 4 years of post-qualification administrative experience;
  • proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • good knowledge in Word processing and other office applications; and
  • good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
